I am able to run cylinder contribution and cylinder compensation tests, as well as what seems to be the built in tests that the IDS Software and Ford ECU are capable of. The unit appears to be fully compatible with the IDS software and my 6.0L. There are also some training vids online as well.

Not sure how many injectors you should disable at one, that is probably in a manual somewhere.ĪFAIK, I am seeing the exact same thing as a Ford Tech at a Dealership, etc. I disabled ONE injector for a quick second, and don't really want to again as the noise from the engine is a tad disconcerting. I have monitored my engine with balancing disabled, and it is interesting to see how each cylinder performes without the constant nudges from the FICM. Also, there is individual injector disable / enable selections. Viewing the cylinder contribution screen gives you the option to disable the balancing of the injectors / cylinders by the FICM.
